Giang's design challenge was to fix the interiors and landscaping of a poorly designed brand new Cape Code house in Pacific Palisades for her client, who is a banker and had to foreclose on the property. The house has breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean from almost every room. It was never purchased because it was badly designed, which goes to prove that "good design" sells. She had to re-engineer stairs in a 4-story hillside house, reconfigure a strange powder room location, change ugly light fixtures and replace multiple interior finishes that were not congruent with the style of the Cape Code style. The 4500 sq/ft house has 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths and is currently on the market for $4.225M.
